The genotyping services provided by TASQ include Tail-tipping, DNA Isolation and PCR which are designed to reduce the extraneous problems of mouse housing and handling for research teams. Complete genotyping services are provided for research teams, or for researchers who would prefer to isolate their own DNA or PCR, tail-tipping and DNA isolation services can be performed separately or in conjunction and the samples sent to the research laboratory.

• ID of mice
• DNA isolation
• PCR analysis for Transgenics
• All consumables

The client must provide:

• PCR primers
• Positive and negative controls
• Gel picture of proven PCR reaction

Additional Notes and Recommendations

• A TASQ application form for genotyping must be completed prior to the commencement of services.
• AEC and GTR numbers must be supplied prior to commencement of services.
