About TASQ
The Transgenic Animal Service of Queensland (TASQ) is a division of The University of Queensland Biological Resources (UQBR) department. TASQ provides a wide range of services for the production, maintenance, genotyping, importing, and preserving of genetically-modified mice. We also serve as a source of knowledge, experience, and instruction in the use of genetically modified mice for research questions and training. We are located at the University of Queensland’s St Lucia campus in Brisbane.
TASQ New Home!
In 2009, TASQ moved to UQBR- AIBN facility . This provides TASQ clients with access to world class laboratory and animal facilities, with the highest standards of a SPF containment .All genetically modified mice along with their breeding colony offspring produced in this facility will be transferrable to any other animal facilities on campus.
